Shabby Love

Here is another card I put together today. Boy I am on a roll! I am not a huge football fan so while the boys are enjoying there sports, I am enjoying mine..:)  I really wanted to try my hand at a romantic shabby chic vintage feel, I think it came out great. I created this circle easel card using my nestabilities dies. The background doilie actually looks like lace, I colored it with Tim Holtz distress ink in tattered rose and sprayed some glimmer mist on. The beautiful Victorian image is actually a cut out that comes included in the stack. I think it worked excellent with the feel I was going for. The sentiment really gives this image a story. The first time they met maybe. I just love it. Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoy this card, stay crafty.

p.s. I love you

Today I want to share a quick A2 card. I am back in my comfort zone, using my favorite colors and embellishments. The fabulous digi "Cabaret" was colored with my copics. I added some glitter to her boots and I glimmer misted her as well. I have her sitting on a doilie that I stamped with hearts  and heat embossed. The sentiment was stamped in memento ink and punched out with my Stampin up punch. I made a stick pin and tucked it in the bed of roses. Once the card was assembled I sprayed everything with glimmer mist to give it some sparkle. I hope you enjoy this cute little valentines card. Have a great day and as always stay crafty!

Green Wishes

I have to admit, green is not my color! I wanted to create a card using a color that I normally would not use as a main color. This is what I came up with. I'm not sure how I feel about it...lol. I did have fun creating it because I did some heat embossing on the background. A technique that I love on projects that I see but have been unsuccessful with.  I am really happy with my results on this card.  I got my nestabilities dies out, which have not gotten much use recently, for the flourishes and circles. I punched the sentiment out with a Stampin up punch. I really "wish" you enjoy this card. Thanks for stopping by, stay crafty.

Paper: Botanical steampunk from Recollections, solid card stock from Stampin up
